A pub dotted along the idyllic River Wey has reopened with a remarkable fresh new look after an almost four-week transformation. Raising the bar for modern country dining, The Seahorse in Shalford near Guildford underwent a revamp this summer and is now welcoming back customers with a new layout, stylishly restored bar, plush seating and a refreshed beer garden.
Just in time for the sunshine, guests can relax in the large outside space kitted out with new festoon lighting and outdoor sofas, perfect for al-fresco dining. The Seahorse’s food and drink menu celebrates the best of British pub dining, and features dishes such as pan-roasted lamb rump, asparagus and squash orzo, and tarragon-battered line-caught haddock with thick-cut chips.
