A teenager is in hospital tonight (Thursday) after a stabbing near a skate park in Guildford. Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident this afternoon (July 20).
Officers were called to Stoke Park on Nightingale Road at around 4.15pm following a report that a man had been stabbed near the skatepark. Emergency services quickly attended the scene and the victim, a man in his teens, was airlifted to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
Two suspects, both described as white males aged between 16 and 18, fled the scene following the assault.

Detective Constable Chloe Houghton said: “We understand this is an alarming incident and there has been a significant police presence in the park this afternoon while we investigate what happened. Our team is doing everything we can to identify the individuals involved and I strongly urge anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any information about the suspects, to please get in touch straight away.
“Officers will remain on patrol in the area this evening and I encourage you to speak with them if you have any concerns.”
