Surrey weather: When snow will next hit the county and Met Office long-range forecast

Snow is next predicted to hit the county in February, according to a forecaster.

AccuWeather forecasts snow on February 15 according to the forecast for Guildford.

The weather forecast for the day reads: “Cloudy, a bit of snow and rain at times in the morning followed by periods of rain in the afternoon.”

After that, snow is next predicted in Guildford on February 20.

The forecast for that reads: “Cloudy with a little rain, mixed with snow early on.”

The Met Office long-range forecast mentions that southern regions are more likely to see warmer, drier and more settled conditions, however.

The long-range forecast from Monday, February 14 on the Met Office website reads: “The current north-south split to the weather is likely to continue from mid-February and through to the second half of the month.

“Northern areas, especially the northwest, are likely to see nearer average temperatures with more rain and strong winds interspersed with a few short-lived colder spells.

“Southern regions are likely to see warmer, drier and overall, more settled conditions.”
