Surrey weather: The places and times snow is forecast in the county this weekend

Some parts of Surrey have been forecast snowfall this coming weekend.

On Sunday (January 24) many Surrey residents woke to find a blanket of it on their doorsteps with huge snowflakes bringing a little lockdown cheer to many.

Although there is no weather warning in place, some parts of Surrey have been predicted flurries of snow on Saturday (January 30) – in particular those on the eastern edge of the county.

Temperatures are to stay very chilly, and are not expected to exceed 4C on Saturday while dropping to subzero temperatures overnight in some places.

Dorking is forecast light snow, while Oxted and Caterham are expected to see heavy snowfall. Haslemere may also see a dusting of the white stuff.

Meanwhile, other areas such as Addlestone are only forecast rain, and Camberley just sleet.

The weather conditions and temperatures for towns across the whole county on Saturday are listed below, as well as when the snow and sleet is expected to fall. The Met Office details are accurate as of 12pm on Thursday (January 28).

The temperatures appear as the day’s highest, followed by the day’s lowest.
