Surrey snow: Hour by hour weather forecast as Storm Darcy heads to UK

Surrey is set to experience five days of cold, snowy weather as Storm Darcy hits the UK.

The yellow warning for snow begins on Saturday (February 6) at 11pm and turns into a snow and ice warning ending on Wednesday (February 10) at 12pm.

This comes just two weeks after some parts of the country recorded four inches of snow with Surrey seeing its first significant dusting of the season.

The Met Office has warned some rural communities may become cut off, with power cuts and possible travel delays for those making essential journeys.

Forecasters have also warned that icy weather could bring difficult conditions underfoot which could lead to injuries, so anyone out walking over the next five days should take care.
