Listed below are the death notices published in Surrey Advertiser and Surrey Mirror over the past week – from Monday, March 28 until Sunday, April 3). A total of 13 people have had their death notices published.

Claire Ellen Keen – of Caterham

Passed away peacefully at home on February 21 2022 aged 81. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Barbara Enid Lennox – of Fairlands, Guildford

Died peacefully in hospital on March 13, 2022, aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Gordon Lennox. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service at St Mary’s Church, Worplesdon on Monday April 11 at 11.00am followed by burial in the churchyard. No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to Macmillan Cancer Support here.

Ronald Hugh Morgan – of Guildford

Slept peacefully away on March 23, 2022, aged 99. Beloved husband of the late Doreen Morgan, father of Jon Morgan and father-in-law of Julinda Morgan.

Service and cremation at Guildford Crematorium on Friday 22nd April at 3pm. Donations to charity of donor’s choice in lieu of flowers please.

Sheila Withycombe – of Godalming

Died peacefully at Robertson Nursing Home on March 9, 2022, aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Ian, much loved mother of Stuart, David and Sarah, and grandmother of Emma, Becky, Charlie, Katie and Sylvie. She will be sadly missed.

There will be a funeral service at Guildford Crematorium on Tuesday April 12 at 11.15am. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Cranleigh Riding for the Disabled or Dementia UK here.

Peter Charles Hine – formerly of Redhill

Sadly passed away on Sunday March 20, 2022, in hospital aged 78 years. Loving Husband of Lesley, much loved Dad of Fay, Sally, Andrew, Sharon and Paul, Dear Grandad of Nicola, Adam, Matthew, Taylor, Luke, Madison, Ellie and Tallulah.

Basil Holland – of Dorking

On March 18, 2022, aged 91 years. Loved and dearly missed by Carol, Gavin, Stuart, Paula, Sophie & Amber and all his friends and family. Funeral service to be held at Randalls Park, Leatherhead on Wednesday April 6 at 11.00am.

David Charles Rose – of Dorking

Dave, David, Dad, Grandad, Grandpa, Great Grandad, Grumpy, Daredevil Dave died peacefully at home in his sleep in the early hours of the morning on Monday March 14, 2022, at 85 years old. He was in no pain after suffering a short illness diagnosed just after Christmas.

Now at peace with his wife Sheila and son Paul he will live with us forever in our hearts and be dearly missed by us all. The funeral is at 11.45am on Monday April 11 at Randalls’s Road Crematorium, Leatherhead.

June Wilson (Blythe) – formerly of Guildford

Passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2022. Aged 79 years. Beloved wife of Charles Henry. Mother of Brian, Michael and Mandy.

Stepmother of Angela and David. Nanna of Jack, Oscar, Thomas and Amy. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Tynemouth Crematorium on Thursday April 14 at 3.00pm.

Betty Rogers (nee Bartram) – formerly of Borrowash, Derybshire

Passed away peacefully on March 15, 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan. She will be sadly missed by all her family.

Kenneth James Uffen, Cmg (HM Diplomatic Service) – of Walton

Died peacefully on March 4, 2022, aged 96. Loving husband to Nancy (née Winbolt) for 68 years.

Known to family and friends as Ken, he will be greatly missed by his wife, brother (Raymond), children (Mark, Catherine and Rosemary), four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and all who knew him.

Funeral at Woking Crematorium on April 5 at 11am. Family flowers only please. Black need not be worn.
