Seven new coronavirus cases recorded in Surrey over last 24 hours

There has been seven new cases of coronavirus recorded across the whole of Surrey, in the past 24 hours.

No deaths have been recorded in the hospitals operating in the county.

The latest daily figures, published on Thursday afternoon (July 23), show the total now stands at 4,658 recorded cases since the start of the pandemic, up from 4,651 on Monday.

Overall in the UK there have been 45,554 deaths in all settings of people who had tested positive for coronavirus.

Lab-confirmed cases now stand at a total of 297,146 since the start of the pandemic.

NHS trusts operating in and around Surrey have recorded no additional deaths of patients who had tested positive for coronavirus.

The total of patient deaths in Surrey hospitals since the start of the pandemic remains at 1,196.
