Guildford crash sees pedestrian killed as Surrey Police launch investigation

Police are looking for witnesses to a fatal crash that killed a 69-year-old woman in Guildford. The woman, a pedestrian, was struck by a car at the junction of Jenner Road and Harvey Road in Guildford.

Officers were called to the scene at 10.57am on Friday, November 25 after reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a grey 2008 Peugeot. The woman was taken to hosptial and died the next day. Her next of kin has been informed.

Surrey Police said that the driver of the car has been cooperating with officers. He has not been arrested.

The force is now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash. A spokesperson said: “We are now appealing for witnesses to the collision who may have further information or dashcam or helmet cam footage to get in touch. If you were in this area between 10.45am and 11.15am and know anything that may assist our investigation, please contact us quoting PR/P220128022 via:
