Guildford Library are teaming up with The Brigitte Trust to host a Death Café.

Attendees are encouraged to have honest and thoughtful conversations about death and dying over coffee and cake.

Death is an inevitable part of life yet most of us find it a very difficult topic to talk about. By providing a safe and informal space to talk about your thoughts and feelings around death and dying the Brigitte Trust aims to normalise these conversations. The Death Café is free and open to anyone, there is no fixed agenda, but conversations in the past have included topics such as: the fear of death, advance planning and how do I talk to my family and friends about death? When we spend time talking about death, we find that it helps remove the fear around it, so come along and join the conversation.
