Margaret Elliot (Maggie)
She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on March 14, 2022, aged 80. Much loved by her partner Ken, children Richard and Rebecca and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral at Guildford Crematorium will take place on Thursday, April 7 at 11.15am, and guests are asked to wear colourful clothes. Family flowers only.
Susan Neary (Delliston) (Sue)
Susan died after a long illness at her home on March 14, aged 76. She was much loved by husband John, her children Christian, Dominic and Isabelle and grandchildren Olivia, Alice, Calum, Eloise, Holly and Luke. Her funeral will be held at St Nicholas Church, Shepperton on April 7 at 12.45pm and donations can be made to Princess Alice Hospice, Esher.
Of Godalming, Guildford
A former police dog handler and member of Godalming Lions, Les died peacefully on March 11, aged 79. The beloved husband of Jan, and much-loved father of Steve and Caroline and proud grandad of Ben, Georgie, Hattie and Charlie. The funeral will be held at Guildford Crematorium on Friday, April 8 at 10.30am and only family flowers will be accepted. Donations to Cancer Research UK.
Anne passed away peacefully on March 14 at Bridge House Care Home, Elstead. She was the wife of late Ted, a much-loved mother to Sally, Graham and Andrew, as well as a grandmother and great grandmother. A funeral service will be held at Guildford Crematorium on Friday, April 1 at 11.15am, with family flowers only. Donations can be made to Bridge House Care Home, in memory of Anne.
Dorothy Emily Wisdom (Dolly)
Dorothy, formerly of Guildford, passed away peacefully at Gloucester Royal Hospital on March 5, aged 91. She was the beloved wife of late Leslie and a much-loved mum to Tina, Colin and Trevor, as well as a mother-in-law to Keith, Bridget and Gill. She was also a loving nan, great nan and great great nan. The funeral service and cremation will take place at Gloucester Crematorium on Friday, April 8 at 12pm – it’s requested that flowers are sent by 10.30pm, and donations can be sent to Cancer Research UK.
Geoffrey Leach (Geoff)
Geoff passed away peacefully at home aged 74 on March 8. He was the much-loved dad to Ruth, Darren, Simon and Paul; father-in-law to Neil; and a loving granddad, brother and friend to many. His funeral will take place in Yorkshire.
Madeleine, of Sunbury, sadly passed away on Saturday, March 5. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed. Her funeral will take place on March 30 at Hanworth Crematorium at 1.10pm. Family flowers only and donations can be made to Surrey and Kent Air Ambulance.
Elizabeth Elna Joy Myles
Elizabeth, formerly of Weybridge, peacefully passed away on March 19. A funeral service will take place on Friday, April 8 at Weybridge Cemetery Chapel at 11.30am. This will be followed by a burial in Weybridge Cemetery. Donations can be made to Versus Arthritis or Lodge Brothers, Weybridge.
Lionel Harvey Thompson (Bill)
Bill passed away peacefully after a short illness on February 22. He was the beloved husband of late Bridget, a much loved dad to Julie and Anthony, and grandad to all his grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Randalls Park Crematorium on Tuesday, April 5 at 11am and only family flowers will be accepted. Donations can be made to the British Heart Foundation.
Dorothy Clarke (Bannerman)
Dorothy passed away peacefully on March 16 at Ashton Manor Nursing Home, Farnham aged 97. She was the wife of late Eric, mother to Fred and late Geoffrey, mother in law to Linda and a much loved grandmother and great grandmother. Her funeral will take place at Woking Crematorium on April 21 at 12pm, and only family flowers will be accepted. Donations can be made to Woking Hospice in memory of Dorothy.
Dorothy Pilkington (Hitchins) (Gina)
Dorothy passed away on March 9. She was a loving, caring mum, nan, great nan and great, great nan, who will be missed by everyone. Her funeral will take place on March 31 at Guildford Crematorium at 1.30pm – family flowers only. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at Merrow Village Club afterwards. Donations are welcome to Macmillan Cancer Fund.
