Coronavirus infection rates have gone up once more in two areas of Surrey – leaving one far above the England average.

In Woking and Surrey Heath, there were increases of three per cent and 17 per cent respectively in figures from the week ending February 19.

The increase means that Woking has the highest rate in the county, at 142.9 cases per 100,000 – the only area in Surrey which has a higher rate than the England average of 119.5.

Surrey Heath has a rate of 92.9.

Meanwhile, in Waverley, the rate is now below 50 cases per 100,000, the lowest in Surrey.
